The Spring Glen Church Sunday School program is offered to all children pre-kindergarten to grade 6.  There is child-care available each Sunday for babies and toddlers up to age 4.  Further, there is a 7th grade Pre-Confirmation Class and an 8th grade Confirmation Class.

Sunday School children begin the morning with their families in the Sanctuary at the 10:00 a.m. worship service and stay for the first 20 or so minutes.  During that time, we have a Children's Message, in which the children are invited to come forward and sit by the alter to hear the message.  Parents are welcome to come forward with younger children and kids who are feeling shy are welcome to stay seated in the pews.  After the Children's Message, children will go downstairs to the Sunday School rooms with their teachers.   On the first Sunday of every month, the children and their teachers will go downstairs to Noah's Chapel to attend a special Chapel service given by the Director of Christian Education.  Parents are always welcome (though not required) to attend.  After the Chapel service, the children return to the sanctuary, re-join their families, and partake of Holy Communion.

Children who are being cared for in the Toddler Room are invited to go there directly at 10:00 am.  Parents can always check in on their child and are always welcome to stay with an anxious-feeling child.  We do offer consistent, on-going care by a paid, authorized professional child care provider.  Our primary goal within the Toddler room at Spring Glen Church is to offer a safe, nurturing and loving environment in which the child and parents feels comfortable and welcome.  Children should be picked up directly following the worship service.

All Sunday School classes run until 11:15 a.m.; the Sunday School program year runs from early September until mid-June, with no Sunday School programming only on major holiday weekends.

A Summer Sunday School program is held every Sunday (except for 4th of July and Labor Day weekends) concurrently with the worship service from 10 to 11 a.m.  During Summer Sunday School volunteer teachers and the children meet in classrooms or outdoors for stories and lessons taught through African drumming, sing-alongs, crafts, and games.  Each year a community service activity, such as baking cookies for others, is included. The program is offered for children going into Kindergarten through grade 6.
